Position: Clinical Nurse (RPN)
Location: St. JacobsWoolwich Community Health Centre (WCHC) requires a part‑time (0.8) clinical nurse (RPN) for a one‑year contract to provide day and evening coverage for our St. Jacobs, Wellesley, and Linwood sites. The Clinical Nurse functions as a member of the inter‑disciplinary team by providing a range of nursing services essential to client care.
Requirements:
Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario2-3 years inter‑disciplinary nursing experience in a community‑based primary care setting is preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.Knowledge of community resources/services to facilitate referrals for primary health care clientsAbility to manage multiple and complex demandsCommitment to working collaboratively in a team environmentKnowledge of/experience with health issues facing seniors, rural residents, youth, and families with young childrenFacility with PS Suite EMR considered an assetExcellent telephone and email communications skills, triaging, assessments, venipuncture, injection, wound care, issue management and strong interpersonal skills within the context of an inter‑disciplinary team setting with clients and community membersHours and location of work would be pre‑arranged, based on coverage needs at any of the facilities.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary of $26.88 - $31.44 7 per hour
- 4 weeks paid vacation (pro‑rated to working status)
- 18 Sick Days per year (pro‑rated to working status)
- 10 Professional Development days per year (pro‑rated to working status)
- Enrolment in Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP)
