Responsibilities- Inspect, maintain, and repair marine engines, generators, and propulsion systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on ships, boats, and offshore platforms.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
- Assist in the installation, calibration, and testing of marine electronic equipment (navigation, communication, and safety systems).
- Monitor and maintain fuel, cooling, and lubrication systems for optimal performance.
- Ensure compliance with maritime safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Prepare and maintain technical reports, maintenance logs, and inventory records.
- Respond promptly to onboard emergencies or equipment failures.
- Collaborate with the engineering team and vessel crew to support daily operations and repair projects.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest marine technologies, tools, and industry best practices.
- Masters in Technology (M.Tech/M.E)
