This role offers the opportunity to manage multiple land development projects, provide technical leadership, and contribute to business growth while gaining hands-on experience in municipal engineering and land development across Southwestern Ontario.
- Pay Rate: $85k-$115k/year.
- Location: Kitchener, ON
- Job type: Permanent | Full-time
- Lead project execution, scheduling, and team direction
- Provide technical guidance on sewer, watermain, stormwater, roadworks, and earthworks projects
- Coordinate sub-consultants and ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards
- Manage multiple projects: budgets, scope, scheduling, invoicing, and progress tracking
- Conduct quality assurance and ensure timely project closeout
- Participate in construction and contract administration
- Identify and pursue business opportunities; assist with proposals and contract negotiations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and represent firm at industry/community events
- Support team staffing, hiring, training, and mentorship
- Lead by example with high standards for planning, efficiency, and work ethic
- Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
- P.Eng., C.E.T., or LET designation
- 3+ years in consulting engineering or municipal environment
- Experience in land development, site plan review, and municipal engineering standards
- Technical knowledge: sewer/roadway design, stormwater management, water systems, earthworks
- Skilled in managing multiple projects, budgets, and project teams
- Experience liaising with clients and coordinating sub-consultants
- Strong project management, organizational, and leadership skills
- Business development experience and client relationship building
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiar with Southwestern Ontario municipalities and regulatory standards
- Driven, high work ethic, and committed to project delivery excellence
- Mentorship and staff development experience
