We are seeking a full‑time Highway Maintenance Technician – Mowing Equipment Operator in the Kissimmee, FL area. The role involves performing a variety of highway maintenance tasks in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies and procedures.

• Work as part of a team performing highway mowing operations.
• Mowing tasks include small and large machines, tractors, and 15’ mowing decks.
• Weed eating.
• Litter removal using side‑by‑side and trash pickers/reachers.
• MUST be flexible and able to work on‑call and nights when necessary.

• Roadway maintenance experience.
• Small machine mowing.
• Mowing/weed control.
• MOT certifications.

• Maintain company standards for background checks (criminal record, driving record, drug testing).
• Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job.
• Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology; ability to use smartphones and applications.
• Ability to adjust to changing work schedule and operate hand/power tools.
• Work safely under varying environmental and weather conditions.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds; strenuous manual labor may be required.
• Clean driving record is essential; must pass criminal background check.

Full‑time; flexible with on‑call and overtime as needed.

$18–20+ per hour, depending on equipment knowledge/experience.
