Contract Length: up to 12 months

Schedule:

Hybrid (Onsite Mon – Thurs, remote on Fri)

Qualifications
  • 1+ years of progressive experience in Product or Merchandising
  • Interest in building a product line for a category or categories of business
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive execution against a plan
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain relationships with key partners
  • Strong team player with the ability to build and foster collaborative partnerships across functions and departments
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Passion for retail merchandising
  • Flexible and adaptable with a demonstrated ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize workload and concurrently manage multiple projects
  • High level of attention to detail; proactive, with strong follow-through skills
  • Positive attitude with the ability to be responsive to feedback and pivot based on changing organization priorities
  • Demonstrated personal initiative in the workplace, with willingness to learn new skills and processes

Required Education Bachelor’s Degree or 1-3 years of relevant experience

Position Overview

This individual will assist in creating the product strategy for a collection of products or initiatives supporting a World Showcase–style assortment, focused on developing high-quality, consumer-focused, trend-right product lines across all channels of distribution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in creating the product strategy for a collection of products or initiatives for a World Showcase–style product assortment
  • Research, organize findings, assemble input from key partners, and prepare presentation decks, briefs, and recaps for key milestone meetings
  • Establish perspective on what’s working and why, to consistently improve the product line
  • Demonstrate passion for consumer and product trends
  • Deliver all item setup information within designated global systems across vertical channels
  • Attend cross-functional team meetings to assist with the input/output of communication
  • Coordinate samples among key partners and room set-ups for product showcases
  • Manage updates and maintenance of the Product Lifecycle Management system
  • Contribute to achieving diversity and inclusion goals through professional growth
  • Assist with other team projects as needed
