JOB SUMMARY: The Cashier is responsible for accurately processing guest transactions, providing friendly and efficient service, and supporting food and beverage operations by assisting with food order assembly and basic beverage service as permitted by law and company policy. This position plays a critical role in ensuring fast, accurate transactions, promoting park offerings, and maintaining a clean, safe guest environment.

SPECIFIC

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Greet guests in a friendly, professional manner and provide accurate park information. Deliver prompt, courteous service while maintaining awareness of current promotions and pricing.
  • Accurately process transactions using cash, credit cards, vouchers, or room charges while safeguarding company funds.
  • Complete all required shift paperwork.
  • Promote featured items, meal deals, and upsell additional products.
  • Assemble and tray food orders from the kitchen according to presentation standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workstation before, during, and after operating hours.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and allergen awareness procedures.
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of food & beverage equipment.
  • Proactively perform cleaning, restocking, and organizational tasks when not assisting guests.
  • Report safety hazards, guest incidents, or equipment issues immediately to management.
  • Participate in all required training programs.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
  • Assume additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent

Experience: Experience with general knowledge of resort operation preferred. 6 months of Culinary experience with general knowledge of restaurant operations preferred.

Certification/Licensure: Food Safety Certified Preferred.

  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Ability to troubleshoot situations without delay and act accordingly.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including evenings, holidays overnight events and weekends.
  • Must be able to maintain positive, respectful relationships and work effectively with all internal and external constituencies, including employees, community leaders and senior management.
  • Must have highly developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including presentation skills; ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
  • Must have a proactive, goal-oriented, can-do attitude. Positive and effective customer service skills.
  • Ability and willingness to up-sell products and services.
  • Must have good teamwork orientation.
  • Be able to define problems, collect data establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
