We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Open Heart (CVOR) to join our team at HCA Florida Osceola Hospital. As a CVOR RN, you will work closely with surgeons and the perioperative team to provide exceptional care to patients undergoing cardiac surgery. You will be responsible for ensuring a sterile surgical environment, assisting during procedures, and delivering critical post-operative care.
This role is vital to patient safety, recovery, and positive surgical outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Function as a scrub and circulating nurse for open-heart and cardiovascular procedures.
Collaborate with surgeons and the perioperative team to maintain a sterile field and follow strict surgical protocols.
Provide critical care to patients before, during, and after cardiac procedures.
Accurately document patient records and comply with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
Monitor patient progress and make necessary clinical adjustments to care plans.
Participate in on-call rotations as required.
QualificationsExperience: Minimum 1 year of CVOR RN (Open Heart) experience in an acute care environment required.
Licensure: Active Florida RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA provider) required; CNOR preferred.
Education: BSN preferred.
