Experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurses are needed for a leading cardiac surgical team in Kissimmee, Florida. This role offers the chance to work with advanced open-heart procedures in a collaborative, high-acuity environment. Deliver expert perioperative nursing care during open-heart and cardiovascular surgeries.

Scrub, circulate, and assist in cardiothoracic and vascular surgical procedures.

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Monitor patients intraoperatively and respond rapidly to changes in condition.

Maintain sterile technique and adhere to all infection prevention standards.

Prepare surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment required for complex cardiac procedures.

Accurately document all aspects of patient care in the electronic medical record.

Participate in on-call rotation (one weekday per week and one weekend per month, or as needed).

Support department quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Required:

Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR or Open Heart RN experience in an acute care hospital.

Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license (must obtain Florida license within 60 days of relocation).

BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA).

PALS certification.

Preferred:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

CNOR certification.

Base Pay: $31.84 to $46.26/hr (commensurate with experience)
Differentials & Incentives:

On-Call Pay: $4.00/hr

Night Differential: +$4.50/hr

National Certification Differential: +$1.50/hr

Sign-On Bonus:
Up to $10,000 (Days) / $15,000 (Nights)
