Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
On-Call: 1 weekday per week + 1 weekend per month (based on department needs)

• Pay Range: $31.84 – $46.26/hour (based on experience)

• On-Call Pay: $4.00/hour

• Shift Differentials:

  • Nights: $4.50/hr

  • Weekends: $1.50/hr

  • National Certification: $1.50/hr

• Sign-On Bonus: Case-by-case

• Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case

HCA Florida Osceola Hospital is seeking an experienced Open Heart (CVOR) Registered Nurse to join our highly skilled cardiovascular surgical team. As a CVOR RN, you will assist surgeons during cardiac procedures, manage critical intraoperative tasks, ensure sterile technique, and support patients throughout the perioperative phase. This role requires strong clinical judgment, technical proficiency, and the ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.

• Scrub and circulate for open-heart and cardiovascular surgical procedures

• Collaborate with surgeons and perioperative staff to maintain a sterile, safe environment

• Provide pre-, intra-, and postoperative care to cardiac surgical patients

• Monitor patient status and respond to changes with appropriate interventions

• Maintain accurate documentation per hospital and regulatory standards

• Participate in required on-call rotations

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of CVOR/Open Heart RN experience in acute care (required)

• License: Active Florida RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)

• Certifications:

  • BLS, ACLS, PALS – AHA required

  • CNOR preferred

• Education: ADN required;
  BSN preferred
