Job Summary And QualificationsUnder the supervision of the Nuclear Medicine Physician, prepare, calibrate, log and administer radioactive isotopes to patients undergoing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures. Operate Gamma Camera Imaging equipment, computers and other isotope‑sensitive equipment to obtain a visual representation or measurement of isotope concentrations in specific body areas or organs. This position requires providing care/service to a critically ill through rehabilitating pediatric to geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Osceola Regional Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with core values. The employee shall support HCA Florida Osceola Hospital’s strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Florida State License Nuclear Medicine required
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or ARRT (N)
