• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
• Provide oversight for multiple concurrent projects and programs.
• Identify and resolve challenges during project execution, making critical decisions to keep projects on track.
• Ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining quality standards.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed to meet objectives.
• Engage with prospects, architects, engineers, and subcontractors throughout the projects.
• Serve as the primary liaison between executive leadership, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure alignment and responsiveness.
• Facilitate meetings and ensure effective communications across teams.
• Communicate effectively and provide executive-level reporting, dashboards, and presentations on progress, risks, and outcomes.
• Coordinate resources effectively to optimize productivity.
• Maintain accurate project documentation (contracts, change orders, RFIs, correspondence, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with County policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Perform duties as assigned and necessary related to the position.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a closely related field.
• Certification:
  Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  Ten (10) years of progressive project management experience with a proven track record of leading strategic, high‑impact projects in complex environments.
• Miscellaneous:
  Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License.

• Ability to perform routine to moderately complex mathematical calculations accurately.
• Proficiency operating basic office equipment (computer terminals, printers, copy machines, telephone systems, fax machines).
• Data evaluation and analysis skills with sound judgment.

• Light physical demand.
• Maximum lifting of 20 pounds.
• Frequent lifting of up to 10 pounds (up to 2/3 of the work time).
• Significant walking/standing may be required if less lifting is involved.
• Push/pull on arm or leg controls if mostly sitting.
• Verbal communication and sound perception required.
• Good eyesight for production or safety of self and others.
• Physical agility required (kneeling, bending, stooping, reaching).
• Clear vision at distances of 20 inches or less required.
