OverviewThe Houseman of housekeeping is responsible for all guest and housekeeping requests. Duties include preparing linen for cottages that will be cleaned for the day from the departure list, loading the van with departure linen and distributing it to the property, attending to all guest requests by delivering items and amenities, and providing tidy and sanitary amenities to guests.
Responsibilities- Collect building access key for the HUB, radio and van key from Housekeeping Office.
- Retrieve departure boards from Supervisor.
- Prepare linen for cottages that will be cleaned for the day from the Departure List.
- Load van with departure linen and distribute it out to the property.
- Attend to laundry dropped off from Hotelier: empty Metro’s and properly place all cleaned linen where they belong.
- Amenity orders when delivery comes in; organize and place where they belong.
- Attend to all guest requests: delivering items and amenities.
- Respond to all radio requests from Supervisors and/or Housekeepers.
- Collect all linen from the property Supervisors will be radioing as cottages are completed.
- Place all dirty linen in empty Metro’s; no linen left on floors of HUB.
- Remove garbage and boxes from the HUB; empty grey bins at the end of every workday.
- Keep laundry cage organized, clean and in order always.
- Attend supervisor requests to clean the sofa.
- Drive 20 miles inside the property.
- Must have driver's license
- Must have high school diploma
- Good communication skills
- Fluent English
- Must have ability to multitask

- Previous experience in hospitality
- Ability to lift, push and pull required load
