Schedule: Part-time;
Thursday – Saturday, 7:00 am – 6:00 pm (Day shift)

Job Description: The Radiologic Technologist will perform radiographic imaging procedures and maintain a safe, clean, and efficient environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, providers, team members, and others of diverse backgrounds.
• Move, position, and manipulate radiographic equipment to complete requested procedures safely.
• Perform direct patient care duties within the technologist’s scope of practice, including monitoring patient condition, transporting patient, and using proper infection control techniques.
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks.
• Notify appropriate personnel when inventory is low.
• Cross‑train into advanced modalities as needed.
• Follow basic radiation safety concepts of time, distance, and shielding to maintain ALARA exposure levels for patient and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Ensure high‑quality images that meet department standards, positioning patients and equipment, selecting technical factors, and capturing correct patient demographic and examination information.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
• Assist patients during procedures, ensuring their comfort, safety, and privacy, in compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, High School Graduate, or equivalent (Required).
• Basic Life Support – CPR Certificate (BLS).
• Registered Radiology Technologist – Kansas State Board of Healing Arts.
• Medical Radiation Technology – IEMA (MRT‑IEMA).
• Medical Radiologic Tech – IEMA (MRT).
• Registered Technologist – Radiography (R.T.(R)(ARRT)).
• State Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
• Additional certifications or credentials as listed in the original qualification requirements.

Pay Range: $21.56 – $40.09 per hour.
