This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

As a key member of our dynamic team of engineers, technicians, and specialists, your role is to coordinate and deconflict launch complex activities. This includes vehicle refurbishment and processing, pad maintenance, hardware and test equipment kitting, deconfliction of hazardous zones, and integration/testing for multiple projects.

Additionally, as an Orbital Launch Controller you will assist in the development of the integration/testing flows and processing plans based on the program schedule, customer need dates, labor, and equipment resource availability. Launch Controllers are skilled in deconfliction, task management and prioritization, and collaborating with cross functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and coordinate on‑site operations, providing real‑time status updates to crews and maintaining visual management boards.
  • Ensure timely availability and delivery of parts and equipment to support scheduled operations.
  • Analyze complex data to resolve varied scope issues and make informed decisions.
  • Oversee and tactically execute all launch pad operations, ensuring situational awareness regarding activities, hazards, weather, and personnel.
  • Collaborate closely with launch vehicle processing, refurbishment operations, and ground operations teams to address facility constraints and schedule resource usage.
  • Assist in developing integration/testing flows and processing plans aligned with program schedules and resource availability.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in operations, manufacturing, production, control, planning, dispatch, and/or schedule execution, with a preference for space/aerospace operations.
  • High digital literacy, with a basic understanding of Microsoft Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, act decisively, and communicate effectively in high‑paced environments.
  • Willingness to work full‑time, including overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must pass a security background check for work at federal reservations.
  • Physically able to work in environments with potential exposure to weather, mechanical parts, and industrial conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience with launch operations at a launch complex.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project).
  • Expertise with Material Requirements Planning/Enterprise Resource Planning software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating with Space Launch Delta 45 Range Operations Squadron and Cape Canaveral operations.
