The Structural Engineer will play a key role within the Structures Department, contributing technical expertise, leadership, and ownership of complex design and delivery assignments. Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will:

• Lead and execute structural design assignments for transportation and infrastructure projects, including bridges and related structures.
• Produce and deliver high-quality structural drawings and plans using software such as Micro Station, OBD/OBM, and DOT design tools.
• Ensure project delivery within defined scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Collaborate across disciplines - interfacing with engineering teams, planners, and stakeholders to support successful project execution.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Participate in project reviews, design coordination meetings, and quality control processes.

Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• 8+ years of progressive structural engineering experience.
• A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Active PE license (required).
• Demonstrated experience in Micro Station, OBD/OBM, and FDOT bridge plan production.
• Strong background in reinforced and prestressed concrete bridge design, with familiarity using DOT design software and Math Cad preferred.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
