Overview
Advent Health Medical Group (AHMG) is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Medical Oncologist to join our team in Minneola, Florida. This position offers an exciting opportunity to help establish and grow oncology services on the brand-new Advent Health Minneola campus, serving the expanding South Lake County community. As part of the nationally recognized Advent Health Cancer Institute—ranked in the top 4% in the nation for cancer care by U.S. News & World Report—you will practice in a system that prioritizes whole-person care, innovation, and clinical excellence.
This is a unique chance to build a thriving practice while collaborating with an experienced, multidisciplinary team.
- Full-time, employed position with Advent Health Medical Group
- Brand-new facility at Advent Health Minneola (part of the Advent Health Cancer Institute network)
- Outpatient focus with access to inpatient support as needed
- Multidisciplinary collaboration with tumor boards, radiation oncologists, surgeons, pathologists, radiologists, and subspecialists
- Access to advanced therapies including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation therapy, surgery, and imaging
- Participation in 175+ clinical trials annually with full research support
- EPIC electronic medical record system
- Competitive compensation and benefits package, including relocation assistance and CME support
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology (Hematology training preferred, but not required)
- Eligible for Florida medical license
- Current, valid BLS and ACLS certifications
- Fellowship-trained preferred
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
You will join a robust network of oncology specialists who treat a wide range of cancers, including:
- Blood cancers
- Brain and spine cancers
- Breast cancer
- GI cancers
- Gynecologic oncology
- Head and neck cancers
- Lung and esophageal cancers
- Pediatric cancers
- Urologic cancers
