Responsibilities of the Construction Project Admin:
As a Construction Project Admin, your responsibilities will include:
- Organizing daily and weekly department activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations to support project success.
- Preparing high-volume purchase orders accurately and efficiently, facilitating the timely procurement of necessary materials and supplies.
- Work on subcontracts and change orders, collaborating with project teams to ensure contractual compliance and accurate documentation.
- We resolve issues with subcontractors and vendors related to invoicing and payment requests, and maintain positive, productive relationships with external partners.
- Scheduling meetings, handling fax communications, accurately taking messages, and providing essential administrative support to project teams.
Requirements for the Construction Project Admin:
- Must know about Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to effectively perform administrative tasks as a Construction Project Admin.
- Willingness to learn new software, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach to mastering new tools and technologies.
- A construction background is essential, providing valuable context and understanding of industry-specific processes and requirements.
- Previous experience with government contracts, particularly with agencies such as FDOT, is highly desirable.
- A high level of attention to detail is critical for success in this role.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with project managers and cross-functional project teams is required.
