Overview
EMG is a rapidly growing company and as we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated Community Compliance Manager to join our team and ensure that our communities maintain and increase property values, while complying with community ccrs as well as local regulations.
Responsibilities- Identify and document violations, including safety hazards, environmental concerns, property maintenance as well as violations to the community rules and regulations tailored to the unique needs of each community.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on compliance-related matters.
- Maintain awareness of changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Collaborate with CAMs to address compliance issues and mitigate risks effectively.
- Investigate reports of non-compliance and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities.
- Draft notices using templates provided
- Potentially serve as a liaison for future needs between residents/homeowners when needed.
- Keep community managers informed of compliance status, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Attend Board meetings and participate on one-on-one meetings with Board or Committee members
- Proven experience in compliance management, preferably in a community environment.
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence people at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Safe driving skills
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
$40,000-$45,000/yr
