Position Overview
Director of Developer Relations, position. If you have worked as a land person, or a project manager for a local builder, Pulte, Lennar, DR Horton, Taylor Morrison, the goal will be for you to be half new sales and half developing a tactical team to run all of our developer properties.
Location/Home Base:
Kissimmee or Melbourne (travel statewide as needed)

CEO
- Lead Generation & Prospecting:
Identify and target potential developer clients within the real estate, construction, and development industries. - Sales & Business Development:
Sell the company's HOA management and CDD management services to new developers, articulating the value proposition and customizing solutions based on developer needs. - Client Acquisition:
Cultivate long‑term relationships with new developers, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the sales cycle, from initial introduction to contract signing. - Market Research & Strategy:
Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and developer needs to identify new opportunities and refine sales strategies. - Partnerships:
Build strategic relationships with key industry stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and real estate professionals to expand the company's network and reach.
- Leadership & Coordination:
Serve as the liaison between clients and the managers overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of their properties. - Onboarding:
Ensure smooth onboarding of new clients, providing guidance on the management process and ensuring the team is well‑equipped to manage the community effectively. - Client Satisfaction:
Monitor and ensure client satisfaction, proactively addressing concerns and working closely with CAMs to resolve issues in a timely manner. - Operational Support:
Oversee performance to ensure the company's service standards and policies are being met, while fostering strong, productive working relationships between CAMs and developers. - Reporting & Feedback:
Regularly report to management on the status of developer accounts, including the health of client relationships, CAM performance, and any challenges faced in managing these accounts. - Act as association or district manager when needed.
- Provide executive‑level feedback and support as part of the executive team steering committee.
- Experience:
Minimum of 5‑10 years in developer relations, sales, or HOA management; experience working with developers and property management is preferred. - Sales
Skills:
Proven track record of successfully generating leads, closing sales, and managing client accounts. - Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to clients and internal teams. - Organizational
Skills:
Strong organizational and project‑management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines. - Leadership:
Ability to manage and inspire community association managers, while also ensuring that developer client expectations are consistently exceeded. - Customer Focus: A strong commitment to delivering exceptional service.
