Program Operations Associate – Leading Solutions HQ Office (Kissimmee, FL)
Leading Solutions, LLC is seeking a motivated Program Operations Associate (Entry‑Level) to support federal government contracts and gain hands‑on experience in government contracting and program management. This role is ideal for current college students or recent graduates who are interested in launching a career in Gov Con and learning how federal programs are planned, executed, and supported.
The Program Operations Associate will work closely with experienced Program Managers and PMO staff to assist with day‑to‑day program activities, including tracking schedules and deliverables, preparing documentation and reports, supporting cross‑functional coordination, and participating in internal and client meetings. This is a training‑focused position that provides structured onboarding, mentorship, and exposure to real federal programs, with opportunities for professional growth and potential full‑time conversion following graduation.
Specific tasks include:- Assist Program Managers with administrative and operational support for federal contracts
- Help track program schedules, deliverables, and action items
- Support preparation of reports, meeting notes, and basic program documentation
- Learn how government contracts operate, including compliance and reporting requirements
- Assist with coordination between internal teams (HR, recruiting, finance)
- Help maintain organized records related to staffing, invoicing, and contract deliverables
- Participate in internal and client meetings as a note‑taker and support resource
- Learn basic subcontractor and vendor coordination processes
- Contribute to process improvement and quality assurance initiatives
- Receive exposure to Gov Con terminology, FAR basics, and program management best practices
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Public Administration, Engineering, Political Science, or a related field
- Strong interest in government contracting, program management or federal operations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior team members
