Reports To:
Sales Manager
Job Purpose:To support the success of Mosby Building Arts by meeting and exceeding sales objectives, by attracting and maintaining our clients while using established Mosby sales and design processes, and by developing unique and innovative remodeling solutions that also produce clear and accurate estimates, plans, and construction documents fit for production.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:- Reach or exceed sales objectives for both sales volume and direct margin using our 9-Step Sales Process
- Conduct 1st appointment sales calls and all other follow-up meetings
- Commit to activities that create Consultant-driven sales leads and repeat/referral clientele
- Create and present well-prepared project proposals which include or produce scope of work, specifications, designs, selections, and accurate pricing using a custom CRM software
- Interact with the client and CRM to maintain accurate and complete client data and documents
- Establish and maintain trusting relationships with all clients, existing and potential
- Maintain knowledge of products and services sold; maintain and improve education related to construction technology and techniques as proscribed; maintain knowledge of design-build remodeling industry trends.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external customers
- Participate in seminars and other industry activities as the need arises
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience in Interior Design or Architecture
- 5+ years’ experience in Residential Design preferred
- Experience with Chief Architect design platform preferred
- Minimum of 3 years’ working in a client-facing capacity to determine design needs, budget, select project materials and building and executing sales contracts
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and CAD Programs (Chief Architect is preferred)
- Perform duties in an efficient, professional, reliable, and courteous manner to provide superior customer service
- Working knowledge of products used in home remodeling and residential construction
- Possess excellent skills related to personal organization, time management, orientation toward detail, sound business judgement, personal initiative, and professional communication
- Ability to work nights and weekends to meet workload demands
- Own and maintain clean, professional, and reliable transportation to use for travelling locally to client appointments, along with maintaining a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Physically able to safely, frequently, and independently walk, stand, climb a ladder, move/handle up to 50 lbs., hear, talk, view computer screens, and type.
