This is a second-shift position working Monday through Thursday, ten hours per day. In this role, you’ll take pride in craftsmanship that supports precision manufacturing and contributes to critical aerospace and defense projects. • Perform the process of painting per government requirements.
• Be able to read travelers as they apply to the painting process.
• Understand the different types of paints and their mil-specs.
• Inventory and maintain the paint and equipment, taking note of expiration dates.
• Follow procedures and work instructions as required by the ISO program, Assembly Department, and safety program.
• Conduct component preparation as required to ensure satisfactory paint adhesion.
• Prepare test panels for Quality control process verification.
• Maintain a daily log of all parts painted, listing applicable parts and castings.

• High school diploma or GED required
• Technical school, or 1 year of verifiable experience
• Must be able to lift and move up to 65 pounds, with or without assistance
• Have the ability to disassemble, clean, and repair spray painting guns and equipment.
