Position: Painter: 2nd Shift Premium

Brief Description

This is a second-shift position working Monday through Thursday, ten hours per day. In this role, you’ll take pride in craftsmanship that supports precision manufacturing and contributes to critical aerospace and defense projects. Shift Time: 3:20 PM - 1:50 AM

Work Days:
Monday-Thursday (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday OFF!)

Responsibilities Include
  • Perform the process of painting per government requirements.
  • Be able to read travelers as they apply to the painting process.
  • Understand the different types of paints and their mil-specs.
  • Inventory and maintain the paint and equipment, taking note of expiration dates.
  • Follow procedures and work instructions as required by the ISO program, Assembly Department, and safety program.
  • Conduct component preparation as required to ensure satisfactory paint adhesion.
  • Prepare test panels for Quality control process verification.
  • Maintain a daily log of all parts painted, listing applicable parts and castings.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical school, or 1 year of verifiable experience
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 65 pounds, with or without assistance
  • Have the ability to disassemble, clean, and repair spray painting guns and equipment.
