We are looking for a motivational and qualified Back of House Manager to oversee our high-performance team and support our General Manager.

As a leader, you will represent our brand and core values, build team relationships, and maintain accountability to the business and the General Manager. Your focus will be on staff development, customer experience, and operational excellence.

Who we are: Taco Buddha is a concept influenced by great taco joints from Austin, Texas, evolving with globally influenced flavors rooted in New‑Mex‑Tex. We opened our second location in June 2023 and are primed for further expansion.

• Represent and exemplify Taco Buddha's core values.
• Hire, train, and coach staff with a focus on humble accountability.
• Delegate responsibilities so direct reports can grow autonomously.
• Deliver high-performance operations that ensure consistent food quality and customer service.
• Schedule shifts aligned with labor budgets.
• Manage inventory and ordering of beverages, maintaining cost‑of‑goods targets.
• Ensure compliance with food safety requirements and train staff accordingly.
• Support the General Manager in operations, facility maintenance, and efficiency initiatives.
• Maintain standardization and consistency in food preparation and presentation.

• Up-to-date Serv Safe certification or willingness to obtain it.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong culinary knowledge base.
• Leadership and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Physical ability to work full shifts standing, lifting heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
• Working knowledge of scheduling systems, POS systems, and inventory ordering systems.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
