Overhead Crane Operator

Working Pattern: 11 Days On / 3 Days Off Rotation

Overview:

Corrie Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Overhead Crane Operator to work on a major infrastructure project based in Orkney.

This role is offered on a rotational basis, with travel and accommodation fully provided. The successful candidate will be working as part of a busy site team on a large-scale construction project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating overhead cranes safely and efficiently on site

• Assisting with lifting operations and material movements

• Working closely with site teams to ensure safe lifting practices

• Following all site health & safety procedures

Requirements:

• Valid CPCS A64:
Overhead Crane Operator certification

• Previous experience operating overhead cranes on construction or infrastructure projects

• Strong understanding of lifting operations and site safety

• Ability to work rotationally as part of a site team

Working Hours:

• Monday – Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm

• Every other weekend: 7:00am – 3:00pm

Rotation:

• 11 days on / 3 days off

Travel & Accommodation:

• Flights provided to and from Orkney

• Accommodation provided within an on-site camp including:
– Single en-suite bunkabin accommodation
– Canteen providing meals
– Laundry service
– Gymnasium and recreation facilities

Package Includes:

• PAYE engagement

• Overtime paid after 10 hours midweek

• Enhanced overtime rates at weekends

• Long-term opportunity on a major infrastructure project
