We are looking for positive and enthusiastic individuals to help deliver the Childsmile Tooth brushing Programme for children at Glaitness nursery

• Organise and supervise children brushing their teeth as part of the NHS Orkney Childsmile Tooth brushing Programme.
• Work independently to supervise children brushing their teeth, with regular contact from the NHS Orkney Oral Health Team.
• Encourage children to brush their teeth well and develop this important lifetime habit.

• Appropriate and relevant experience of working with young children is essential.
• Aware of and able to follow health and safety, infection control and confidentiality guidance.
• Ability to travel efficiently between work locations within Orkney to meet operational requirements.
• This post is subject to Level 2 Disclosure Check with PVG for working in a regulated role with children.

• Hours are worked around school timetables and breaks, four days per week.
• Travel between work locations within Orkney to meet service needs.
