Base pay range: $48.00/hr – $48.00/hr
Job Summary: The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is a qualified professional who directs, supervises, evaluates, and provides respiratory therapy services to patients as prescribed by the attending physician. The Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) performs similar duties. Care is authorized by applicable state scope of practice regulations.

Bachelor's Degree in respiratory therapy or Associate Degree in respiratory therapy.
LicensureRegistered by the National Board for Respiratory Therapy (NBRT) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRRT). Current and unrestricted state licensure as required by the state of practice.
Qualifications- CRT or RRT certification required.
- BLS emergency course required.
- At least one year of respiratory therapy/technician experience in a clinical environment.
- Knowledge of ventilator management, BiPAP, CPAP, Air Vo.
- Current CPR certification (or as required by client facility).
- Complies with ATC policies and client facility policies.
- Documents accurately and completely services provided.
- Initiates, administers, and monitors all respiratory care procedures as assigned.
- Initiates emergency measures according to client resuscitation protocols.
- Maintains confidentiality of patient care and facility practices in accordance with HIPAA.
- Provides patient care in a non‑judgmental, non‑discriminatory manner that respects cultural diversity and age appropriateness.
- Communicates information effectively to appropriate personnel.
- Maintains competency by participating in continuing education and meeting state requirements.
- Complies with ethical and professional standards of conduct set by National Board for Respiratory Care.
Various client facility settings; possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious materials. Floating required.
