Position: Shutter/Blinds Installer (Permanent)
Tailored Recruitment Partners are working with family-run West Yorkshire business with 40 years’ experience designing and installing made-to-measure blinds and plantation shutters. We’re known for quality workmanship, honest advice, and looking after customers properly.

We’re looking for an experienced plantation shutter and blind installer who takes pride in doing a job right, can work independently, and enjoys being the trusted person in a customer’s home.

The role

* Installing plantation shutters and blinds in residential homes across Leeds, Wakefield and surrounding areas

* Completing high-quality fitting, finishing, and snag-free handovers

* Representing Solaire professionally in customers’ homes (punctual, tidy, respectful)

* Communicating clearly with the office/team about progress, issues, and follow-ups, if necessary

* Keeping your work area and tools safe and clean; following basic health & safety and child-safety awareness standards

What we’re looking for:

* Proven experience installing plantation shutters (not just blinds)

* Experience with bay windows/out of square openings/older properties

* Strong practical fitting skills (measuring awareness, levelling, finishing, problem-solving)

* Can work independently and make sensible decisions on-site

* Full UK driving licence

* Reliable, customer-friendly, and serious about quality
