MIG Welder Fabricator
Salary: £13.50 - £15.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm
Breaks: 30 minutes unpaid

We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder Fabricator to join a well‑established and busy workshop environment. This is a hands‑on role requiring the ability to read technical drawings, fabricate components from scratch, and produce high‑quality MIG welds to specification. You will be working on a range of mild steel products, including structural and bespoke fabrications.
Key Responsibilities- MIG welding mild steel to a high standard
- Fabricating components from engineering drawings
- Measuring, cutting, grinding, and assembling materials
- Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
- Conducting visual inspections of welds
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Proven experience as a MIG Welder Fabricator
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong fabrication and assembly skills
- Experience working with mild steel
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Competitive hourly rate (£13.50 - £15.50 DOE)
