About the roleThis is a field-based position providing installation, maintenance, and technical support for environmental and humidity control systems across the UK. The role suits a hands‑on engineer with strong mechanical and electrical skills who enjoys problem‑solving and working independently on customer sites.
You will be part of a friendly and skilled service team, ensuring equipment is installed, maintained, and performing to specification. Occasional overnight stays may be required, with all travel and accommodation managed to ensure a good work‑life balance.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out installation, commissioning, service, and repair of environmental control equipment on customer sites.
- Perform electrical and mechanical diagnostics, identify faults, and implement solutions effectively.
- Complete service documentation, including reports and parts usage records.
- Liaise with customers to deliver clear updates, advice, and on‑site training where required.
- Provide feedback to the engineering team to support product improvements and reliability.
- Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar technical role.
- Strong electrical and mechanical understanding, ideally within HVAC or process equipment.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
- Experience working with air handling, dehumidification, or industrial drying systems.
- Electrical or mechanical qualifications (HNC/HND or equivalent).
- F‑Gas certification or similar industry credentials.
