- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
- 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.

With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities- Lead the engineering to build and launch new external customers (GCP customer) facing UI and API features that provide accurate, and actionable outage information.
- Collaborate with other GCP customer facing platforms such as Gemini Cloud Assist (generative AI app) and App Health and expose incident information via these channels.
- Work effectively across Program Manager PM, UX, and Technical Program Manager (TPM) teams to drive change and influence product and process decisions.
- Manage a team of engineers. Grow, coach and mentor engineers to build a healthy team culture with a focus on technical excellence.
- Manage project schedules, identify risks and clearly communicate them to stakeholders.
