Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Overview

Responsibilities- Operate, test, or maintain robotic equipment
- Respond to unplanned maintenance requests
- Read, analyze and interpret technical documents such as blueprints, electrical diagrams to diagnose and repair electrical issues
- Basic (or better) understanding of PLC systems
- Test and repair pneumatic assemblies
- Understand and analyze the technical specifications of mechatronic systems, subsystems, modules and components
- Perform scheduled, predictive, and preventive maintenance to detect and prevent problems
- Use troubleshooting skills to identify and prevent possible problems and failures, and to systematically and intelligently make repairs
- Incorporate relevant technical literature into the understanding of system operation and coordinate efforts with other technicians involved in installing or maintaining equipment or components
- Install, repair, adjust, and test equipment and components to ensure that systems function properly
- Communicate with machine operators, and operate equipment to detect equipment problems, analyze malfunctions, and verify system problems
- Observe and incorporate safety standards and regulations required for safe operation of the system
- Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines
- With or without reasonable accommodations, must be willing and able to work with powered lift equipment – for example forklift or scissor lifts
- Valid Driver’s license and able to satisfy Amazon driver eligibility criteria
- With or without reasonable accommodations, must be able to lift up to 49 pounds on some occasions, stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours (with breaks), and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Pay and BenefitsThe starting pay for this role in Washington State is up to $38.50/hour and employees are eligible for incremental raises based on tenure. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits are provided. This information is provided per the Washington State Pay Transparency Act. Base pay information is based on market location. Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 4+ years working experience with installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining electro-mechanical systems and devices

- Familiar with Lock out Tag Out (LOTO) devices and processes
