Reporting to the National Account Director and Regional President, the Security Service Center (SSC) Portfolio Manager oversees a team of operators monitoring security and access‑control systems across the United States. The role leads the team through change, champions innovation and growth, and manages teams across wide areas and time zones. The candidate must possess exceptional client‑management skills, instill confidence, act as a partner, and own the ups and downs of the team.

• Supervise all personnel in the SSC.
• Manage day‑to‑day SSC operations, ensuring alarms are responded to and reports are submitted.
• Develop and implement project plans for key strategic initiatives to improve operational capabilities across all SSC areas.
• Keep stakeholders apprised of contract performance by accurately communicating compliance status and identifying deficiencies in a timely manner.
• Compile team performance SLAs, KPIs, metrics, and dashboard reports to ensure contract requirements are met or exceeded.
• Develop and manage effective implementation of SOPs, post orders, training, and similar directives.
• Respond to all communication requests from clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to provide information regarding security, life‑safety, and other incidents.
• Develop and manage incident‑notification protocols (e.g., monitor CCTV feeds and notify appropriate stakeholders during non‑routine events).
• Liaise with local law enforcement and other first responders during incidents.
• Ensure correct deployment and operation of security systems, including CCTV, access control, and other technologies.

• At least 3‑5 years of experience in security control centers (GSOC/SOC).
• Direct supervisory responsibility (hiring, training, coaching, etc.).
• Experience in security operations at a high‑throughput facility.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to support first responders as directed.
• Strong understanding of security, building management, CCTV video‑management, and access‑control systems.
• Experience generating reports and briefings.
• High organization, availability during off‑hours, weekends, etc.
• Professional, reliable, and customer‑service oriented.
• Experience conducting interviews and acting on behalf of Inter‑Con and clients.

• Technologically savvy—experienced with MS Office Suite and Google Suite; knowledge of scheduling platforms is a plus.
• Adept at leading teams in complex problem‑solving.
• Customer‑service orientation required.
• Effective communication with all management levels in a corporate environment.
• Flexible and able to meet deadlines in a high‑tempo environment.
• Excellent time‑management, organization, and multi‑tasking skills.
• Dependable team player with business maturity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
