Overview
Ferguson is seeking a Ductless, Crossover, VRF Category Sales Specialist to support Territory Managers, Area Sales Managers, Contractors, Engineers, and utility entities with sales support, application support, design support, and collaboration with the Ferguson Ductless/VRF Team to grow market share in Western Washington. This is a remote role supporting the Washington Region; ideal candidates are in the PST time zone and preferably within easy commuting distance of locations in Seattle/Tacoma.
Responsibilities- Perform design help for potential Ductless, VRF opportunities and ongoing contractor support for multifamily projects.
- Act as a product champion for Ductless, Crossover, VRF.
- Lead and develop customer relationships at local, regional, and national levels, or a combination thereof.
- Demonstrate expertise in factory design software and understanding of load calculations.
- Manage orders throughout the lifecycle, communicating and accounting for any changes to a job.
- Collaborate with Ferguson's Ductless/VRF Team, Business Development Manager, National Account Manager, and Territory Managers to close sales, maintain ongoing jobs, provide training, seek new opportunities, and grow market share.
- Follow up on jobs and orders, tracking all pertinent information after the intent to award is disclosed.
- Align with inventory efficiency goals and maintain job performance against expectations.
- Frequent local travel required; occasional overnight travel.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 5 years of HVAC-related industry experience, with emphasis on VRF, Ductless, and knowledge of crossover products.
- Experience as a sales consultant/contractor, distributor HVAC sales, or factory representative.
- Project sales of hospitality or multifamily construction is a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong computer and MS Office skills, with emphasis on Excel.
- Ability to delegate work effectively.
- Self-motivation and a process-oriented approach to manage multiple priorities.
- Very detail-oriented and comfortable operating within established processes.

Pay Range: $9,366.67 - $16,516.67
Estimated ranges displayed are monthly for salaried roles or hourly for all other roles. This role is bonus or incentive plan eligible. Ferguson complies with wage regulations. Starting wages may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
