Family Medicine with Behavioral Health experience. The Provider will deliver comprehensive family medicine care within a behavioral health setting, supporting patients and working under the Employer’s general direction, control, and supervision. The Provider retains the right to exercise independent medical judgment in providing care and treatment to patients and will be courteous and respectful of the rights and dignity of patients, working cooperatively with Employer’s administrative staff.
The Provider shall abide by all Employer policies and procedures and provide services to all patients regardless of race, sexual preference, religion, gender, or ability to pay and any other class protected by law.
- Provide professional medical care to Employer’s patients in accordance with professional standards of care, quality and practice protocols and policies, as adopted from time to time by Employer and as required by law.
- Provide call coverage one (1) weekend is required every five (5) weeks for the Facilities in accordance with Employer’s call coverage schedule.
- Perform the particular duties assigned by Employer from time to time.
- Keep and maintain appropriate records, reports, claims, and correspondence necessary and appropriate in connection with all professional services Provider renders under this Agreement.
- This includes, but is not limited to, the policy on documentation and timely completion of practice-based medical records that is in effect from time to time. All such records, reports, claims, and correspondence belong to Employer.
- Promote Employer’s professional practice, to the extent permitted by law and the applicable canons of professional ethics.
- Attend to the administrative duties of the Employer’s professional practice, to the extent required by Employer’s policies.
- Perform all acts reasonably necessary to maintain and improve Provider’s professional skills.
- Participate in marketing/public relations of his/her duties such as speaking engagements, newspaper interviews, etc. as required by Employer.
