We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Engineer to join our Fin Ops Tools team, focusing on analyzing and preparing data for ingestion and creating highly available data products, models, and data marts in a Hadoop environment. You will play a crucial role in driving our Cloud Infrastructure Cost Management and Capacity Forecasting initiatives. Your expertise will support in developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting data to ensure reliability and accuracy, facilitating cross-functional team collaborations to enhance our Cloud and Infrastructure Cost Management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and prepare data for ingestion, ensuring data governance and compliance for analytics.
- Develop and maintain data products, models, and data marts in a Hadoop environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on Cloud Infrastructure Cost Management and Capacity Forecasting.
- Provide solutions for Fin Ops and Capacity Analytics through expert data engineering.
- Troubleshoot data issues to ensure integrity and accuracy of data.
- Proficient in programming languages like Python, SQL, Rust, and shell scripting to build and support automations and data products.
- Skilled in working with both on-site and cloud-based data storage solutions, including Hadoop, Snowflake, No
SQL, and others. - Knowledgeable about data processing and pipeline concepts, such as ETL, ELT, and tools like Apache Airflow.
- Understanding of Git Ops and CI/CD best practices and tools like Jenkins, as well as agile development.
- Experienced in managing and creating data insights and dashboards using Tableau.
Minimum 5 years in Data Engineering and Dev Ops within data, Fin Ops, or analytics-focused organizations, ideally with some experience in financial technology, capacity planning, supply chain, or data analytics environments. Familiarity with CI/CD, agile development, and the ability to create insights and dashboards using Tableau are also essential.
