Wage Range: $33.89 - $54.23 per hour
Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.
Job SummaryCoordinates data collection with payers, health plans, and other third parties. Loads data to Evergreen Health's population health tools, such as Epic's Healthy Planet and Value Based Performance Management (VBPM) modules, and other information/data systems as needed. Responsibilities include analyzing and aggregating data across multiple technology resources and summarizing data in an actionable format. Develop reports to monitor data feeds and track any deficiencies.
Collaborates and partners with Epic Analysts and Population Health team.
- Collaborates with Epic Analysts to set up the file transfer process (FTP). Creates the required folder structure to load claims data aggregation files from the payers. Configures and monitors results from the claims load.
- Establishes a process to ensure that informational files for claims loads are regularly downloaded.
- Works with Epic Analysts to document the issues and gaps during the design mapping and validation process. Communicates issues and collaborates with payers to resolve issues.
- Investigates technical issues found during the claims technical validation and operational validation processes. Analyzes issues and communicates impact of issues to leadership and Epic Analysts.
- Serves as the main point of contact for payers regarding data feeds and loads. Monitors eligibility, claims, and information file loads. Ensures that payer data files are regularly created, received, and properly formatted. Investigates file transfer and ETL load issues. Validates that files are sent to appropriate folders for the ETL to process and load data.
- Collaborates with Epic Analysts to implement new Epic modules, upgrades, and other projects.
- Reviews upgrade change logs and works with Epic to coordinate upgrade testing.
- Triages requests and determines the priority of issues.
- Attends payer accountable care meetings to address any data collection needs and issues.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience:
REQUIRED
- High School diploma and 5 years of related experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience working with Epic systems, preferably in claims analysis or a related field.
- Data management and analytical experience, primarily with large, multi-dimensional data files.
- Knowledge of SQL queries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in data management, SQL, or Epic systems are highly desirable.
