CS Tech ; Per Diem

Wage Range: $25.47 - $39.05 per hour

Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.

Responsible for preparing and assembling medical and surgical supplies, instrumentation, and equipment, maintaining the sterile processing areas and receiving and distributing surgical supplies and equipment. Performs routine duties in all areas of the Central Sterilizing & Processing Department.

• Supplies all departments of the Hospital with items needed from Central Sterilizing & Processing while maintaining good interpersonal relationships
• Prepares supplies, trays and instrument sets for sterilization and/or decontamination for use throughout the hospital
• Knows and practices principles of aseptic technique
• Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIRED for the position:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Completion of CS Technician Training Program

DESIRED for the position:

• 1 year experience with surgical instruments
• National certification in CSP
