Wage Range: $25.62 - $39.18 per hour plus 15% per diem rate
Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications, or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.
Evergreen Health has outpatient phlebotomy clinics located in Canyon Park, Redmond, Woodinville, Kenmore, and Kirkland. These positions will have day shift hours with schedules Monday – Friday and occasional Saturday.
Job SummaryResponsible for delivering exceptional customer service by providing fast and accurate information upon request. Exhibits problem-solving skills in order to promote efficient customer service and client satisfaction. Interacts daily with other members of the healthcare team to include laboratory and hospital personnel and must maintain a broad knowledge base.
Primary DutiesExperience:
REQUIRED for the position:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification from an approved laboratory-training program with successful completion of a required internship preferred, or relevant work experience.
- 3 years of experience working in a clinical laboratory role
- Medical terminology
- Previous training and competence in dealing with unique needs in the range of customer service situations with clinicians and their office staff.
- Working knowledge of the various government regulations specifically Medicare and the Washington state medical Test Site regulations. Working knowledge of the College of American Pathologists (ASCP) and the Joint Commission (TJC) inspection criteria.
