Overview
Fairfax Behavioral Health is seeking a Master’s Level Intake Clinician for our Assessment team located in Kirkland, WA. Our intake team operates 24/7 handling referrals from hospitals, DCRs and providers for our Kirkland, Everett and Monroe campuses. Intake clinicians and nurses also assist callers from across the state with inquiries into our services for both mental health and substance use concerns.
PositionSummary
Part Time Evening Shift (1pm-9pm) Friday–Sunday. The intake team functions as the entry point for all those who seek services at our facilities. The work environment is energetic and fast‑paced.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for referrals and questions related to services.
- Conduct phone-based clinical assessments with callers, building rapport quickly.
- Collaborate independently and with a multidisciplinary team across departments.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication with hospital and agency partners.
- Participate in ongoing training such as CPR, 1st Aid, Handle with Care, and Verbal De‑escalation upon hire.
- Master’s degree in social work or a related mental health field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in social work or a mental health setting.
- Active WA State license (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT; associate licenses accepted).
- Familiarity with Washington state mental health system preferred.
