CAD Engineer II
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled CAD Engineer II to join our team and contribute to the design and manufacturing processes. This role involves developing detailed 2D and 3D models, updating factory layouts, and translating product designs into manufacturing‑ready documentation.
Responsibilities- Update factory layout as needed.
- Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software such as Solid Works, AutoCAD, Inventor, and CATIA.
- Translate product designs into manufacturing‑ready documentation.
- Create and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) and manufacturing drawings.
- Develop and maintain custom fixture designs.
- Ensure drawings meet company standards, tolerances, and GD&T requirements.
- Support production by troubleshooting design and manufacturing issues.
- Implement design revisions based on engineering changes or process improvements.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to optimize cost and efficiency.
- Support prototype development and testing activities.
- Maintain engineering documentation and version control.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
- 3+ years of AutoCAD design experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and facility layout design.
- Experience with wiring diagrams.
- Fixture design experience, including tolerance analysis, machining, fabrication, and injection molding.
- Knowledge of GD&T, warehouse design, and plant design.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with ERP or PLM systems.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with prototype builds and production support.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
This position is based onsite every day at our new Woodinville manufacturing/production plant. The role involves working closely with various teams to ensure seamless production processes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kirkland, WA.
Pay & BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $74.00/hr.
