Echodyne

is seeking a Sr. Program Manager with experience in hardware and software product development to join our team working in a fast‑paced environment developing high‑performance commercial radar solutions. The Sr. Program Manager will lead cross‑functional teams to develop products that support Echodyne’s business growth objectives. The role includes development of hardware/software products and standalone IoT software applications. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver innovative products that exceed customer expectations and advance Echodyne’s core technology differentiation.
  • Define, plan, and manage complex development programs.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including software developers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, systems engineers, radar scientists, manufacturing engineers, and sourcing.
  • Track and report program status and metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvements in product development methodologies.
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
  • Ability to identify solutions to challenging problems that optimize results for Echodyne and our customers.
  • Ability to weigh risks and make clear decisions based on available information.
  • Ability to lead engineering and research teams to achieve objectives.
  • Experience leading hardware development programs.
  • Experience leading development programs in collaboration with customers and partners.
DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE (looking for one or more as a complement to the core skills)
  • Experience leading embedded software or software application development programs.
  • Experience using Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools or software.
  • Experience using project management tools, such as MS Project, MS Excel, and JIRA.
  • Experience in Agile or hybrid waterfall‑Agile software development methodologies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Building collaborative relationships both internally and externally.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, other technical degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years or more in technical program management.

WHAT WE OFFER

The pay range for this position is $121,000 – $181,600 annually.
