Job GoalTo enable each student, through safe and efficient instruction, to take full advantage of the complete range of curricular and extracurricular activities offered by the district's schools.
Salary$150 per day
Performance Responsibilities- Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students.
- Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to student maturity and interests.
- Guide the learning process toward curriculum goals, establishing clear objectives for lessons, units, projects, and communicating them to students.
- Employ instructional methods and materials that are appropriate for meeting stated objectives.
- Assess student accomplishments regularly and provide progress reports as required.
- Advocate for struggling students, seeking assistance from district specialists when necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues, students, and/or parents regularly.
- Assist in implementing all policies and rules governing student life and conduct; develop reasonable classroom behavior/routine rules, and maintain fair and just order.
- Plan and supervise assignments for paraprofessionals and volunteers, evaluating their performance.
- Strive to maintain and improve professional competence.
- Attend staff meetings, PLC meetings, and serve on staff committees as required.
- Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance.
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor when dealing with school personnel and the public.
7:30 AM – 3:15 PM, Monday through Friday
