Fairfax Behavioral Health has served the Greater Seattle/Puget Sound area since 1930, providing comprehensive mental health and co‑occurring addiction treatment services for adolescents and adults. The organization offers a full continuum of care, including inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and specialized programs for active duty, veterans, first responders, and women.
- Kirkland Campus – 157‑bed standalone psychiatric hospital offering a full continuum of care.
- Everett Campus – 30‑bed adult psychiatric facility at Providence Medical Center’s Pacific Campus.
- Monroe Campus – 34‑bed facility located at Evergreen Health in Monroe.
- Bellevue Outpatient – outpatient services (details not listed).
- Maintain a manageable inpatient adolescent caseload with an average of 16 encounters per day.
- Perform initial psychiatric evaluations, ongoing assessments, lead the treatment team, and manage patient discharges.
- Work a flexible schedule: generally Monday‑Friday day shifts with the ability to be offsite after daily patient care duties.
- Provide 14 weekend in‑person rounding sessions and one evening call per week (by phone only).
- Participate in leadership opportunities, including potential Unit Directorship or other leadership appointments.
- MD/DO degree from an accredited program.
- Curriculum‑required certification: BC/BE in General Psychiatry.
- Additional certification: BE/BC General Psychiatry (required); BE/BC Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (strongly preferred).
- Current Washington physician/medical license in good standing, or ability to obtain the required license.
- Credentialing that meets all hospital credentialing criteria.
- Full‑time employed W‑2 position.
- Salary range: $320,000 – $360,000.
