LYD Construction is hiring a Site Superintendent to run tight, respectful, high-quality job sites across the Greater Seattle area.

You'll be the boots-on-the-ground leader who protects the schedule, project quality, and the customer experience.

About the Role:

As our Site Superintendent, you'll take charge of day-to-day operations across multiple residential remodeling projects. You'll lead job sites from start to finish-managing subcontractors, overseeing scheduling and site safety, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring each project is delivered on time and within budget. You'll also be a key point of contact for customers while projects are underway, setting expectations, communicating clearly, and solving problems proactively.

This role is perfect for a field-first leader who excels at multitasking, problem-solving, and driving craftsmanship in every detail.

Simultaneously manage 5-15 residential remodeling projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Operational Planning:
Collaborate with office staff and construction managers to conduct pre-planning, procure materials, and maintain realistic schedules.
  • Site Supervision:
Perform regular walkthroughs to monitor daily progress, enforce quality standards and building codes, and ensure site safety in compliance with OSHA guidelines.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
Maintain professional and consistent communication with homeowners, team members, and subcontractors to provide updates, set expectations, and resolve issues.
  • Coordination &

    Collaboration:

Coordinate with inspectors and subs for high-quality work, while building strong relationships with architects, suppliers, and local permitting authorities.
  • Documentation & Closeout:
Document daily workmanship and quality checkpoints, and lead project closeouts, including final client walkthroughs.
Who We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in residential and commercial work, remodeling, or site management required.
  • Strong leadership skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects and teams effectively
  • Exceptional organizational, time-management, and excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with Washington state safety regulations
  • A self-starter who aligns with our core values, dedicated to exceeding client expectations in every project
  • A self-starter who operates with integrity and respect, aligning with our culture of professionalism.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between Seattle-area job sites
Our culture:
  • Exceptional service for customers and employees
  • Respect, clear communication, and personal growth
  • A values-driven environment rooted in respect, integrity, and professionalism
What We Offer:
  • $80,000-$90,000 per year, depending on experience and fit.
  • Monday-Friday, daytime hours; occasional weekend work based on project needs
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and 7 paid Holidays per year.
  • Health Insurance (50% employer-paid)
