Yard Operative​/Forklift Driver

Job Title: Yard Operative / FLT Driver
Location: Kirkintilloch
Hours: Day Shift - Monday to Friday (Occasional Saturdays Required)
Salary: £12.80 - £13.50ph (dependent on experience)

Apex Resources Limited are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for reliable and hardworking Yard Operative / FLT Drivers to join their busy operations team in Kirkintilloch. This is a day shift position offering stable weekday work with occasional Saturday shifts when required.

• Operating a Forklift Truck safely and efficiently around the yard
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving stock and materials across the yard and warehouse areas
• Assisting with goods in and goods out processes
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised yard environment
• Carrying out manual handling duties where required
• Following all site health and safety procedures

• Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance preferred) - inhouse licence's accepted
• Previous experience working in a yard, warehouse, or similar environment
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Flexible to work occasional Saturdays when required

• Monday to Friday day shift pattern
