Sales Advisor

Our 3 acre/64,000 ft2 Kirkintilloch, Glasgow depot holds a comprehensive range of building materials and our competitiveness, combined with our large fleet of delivery vehicles, plus personal attention ensures we provide professional service to our customers.

Sales Advisors are based in our busy Trade Centre (includes Trade Counter, Home Improvement Showroom and Landscape Centre) handling orders and enquiries from trade and retail customers face to face and by email + telephone.

• Providing fast and friendly service and advice
• Handling customers enquiries and orders
• Following up on customer quotations (enquiry conversion)
• Accurate order processing and payment collection via your own till and desk
• Greeting customers and engaging with them on their projects in order to generate new customer accounts and develop existing ones
• Dealing with enquiries for stock items and liaising with suppliers for special order items

Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am – 4.30pm and Saturday (1 in
3) 8am-12 noon

Salary: 34K+ DOE

You should have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, be confident with good communication skills and enthusiastic about customer service.
