Warehouse Operator

Our reputable client are URGENTLY looking for a WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE to join their well established team.

Reporting in to the Warehouse manager, you will be a key team player in all Warehouse activities and Operations. Your key duties will include:

• Carry out all duties in accordance with company documented procedures.
• Ensure the warehouse is always kept to a high standard of tidiness and cleanliness paying particular attention to the beginning of the day.
• Ensure that goods are stored in stock rotation order - all older stock to be used first.
• Carry out picking of orders as advised by the Warehouse Team Leader.
• Carry out visual QC Checks as required.
• Check orders picked by other staff for accuracy.
• Pack customer orders appropriate to the product being despatched.
• Re-packing of product to appropriate containers as required.
• Ensure any damaged stock is quarantined and advised to the Warehouse Team Leader.
• Carry out stock checks as directed by the Warehouse Team Leader.
• Any other duties within the title holder's capabilities as directed by the Warehouse Team Leader.

To be suitable for this fast-paced and challenging role you will have the following key skills and experience:

• Experience working in a warehouse related environment is preferred
• Team working skills
• Excellent time keeping and attendance
• Accuracy, speed and attention to detail
• Microsoft Office IT Skills
• The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• A flexible approach to work
• The ability to carry out physical work for long periods of time
• Willingness to learn and be given direction.
• Health and Safety aware.

This is a permanent full-time role and will be working Mon-Friday 730-5pm. You will receive a salary of 28500 - 32,000 pa ( Depending on experience ) , excellent benefits , training and development.
