Cleaning Supervisor

Overview

If you have an eye for attention to detail and enjoy cleaning and hold a Cleaning Operators Proficiency Certificate with supervisory experience, you could be perfect for this career. Why not join one of our many teams within schools in the East of Fife area. We have a permanent vacancy to supervise the team of Cleaners in:

• Burntisland Primary School – 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 3:00pm and 7:00pm, on a 40‑week term‑time contract.
• Dunnikier Primary School – 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 3:00pm and 8:00pm, on a 40‑week term‑time contract.

You will earn a competitive salary of £24,740.74 to £22,885.80 pro‑rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:

• £13.79 per hour to start, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
• Pay is annualised with equal instalments every 4‑week pay period.

This role is about ensuring pupils and staff can return to a clean and safe environment every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for pupils and staff.
• Supervise the team of cleaners, ensuring tasks are completed to high standards.
• Attend induction training before starting in post.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Hold The Cleaning Operatives Efficiency Certificate or equivalent.
• Supervisory experience with a Cleaning Operators Proficiency Certificate or BICs Certificate preferred.
• Obtained Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland.
