Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and alignment of scalable enterprise solutions across web / mobile applications and data platforms. This role focuses on defining end‑to‑end architecture, guiding technical direction, and ensuring seamless collaboration between distributed delivery teams and client stakeholders. While technical and data platform execution is supported by internal engineering and data specialists, this role is responsible for architectural ownership, stakeholder alignment, and ensuring solution coherence across the ecosystem.

We are primarily looking for candidates based in the United Kingdom due to stakeholder proximity and collaboration needs.

• Define and maintain end‑to‑end solution architecture across application and data domains
• Translate business and client requirements into scalable technical designs
• Ensure alignment between frontend, backend, integration, and data components
• Drive architectural governance, standards, and best practices across teams
• Collaborate closely with internal technical and data specialists who provide implementation depth
• Lead architecture discussions with client stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor
• Support roadmap and capacity planning for upcoming delivery phases
• Identify risks, trade‑offs, and optimization opportunities within the architecture landscape
• Review solution designs and provide guidance to engineering teams
• Communicate architectural decisions clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences

Must have skills:

• Proven experience in Solution Architecture or similar leadership roles
• Strong background designing enterprise or cloud‑native systems
• Experience working across distributed or multi‑team delivery environments
• Ability to balance technical depth with business and stakeholder understanding
• Strong communication and client‑facing skills
• Experience aligning architecture across application and/or data platforms
• Familiarity with modern API‑driven and integration‑based ecosystems

Nice to have skills:

• Experience working with .NET, Java‑based ecosystems
• Exposure to modern frontend architectures (e.g., component‑based frameworks)
• Working knowledge of modern AI integration patterns, including Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and agentic/workflow‑based integrations.
• Understanding of data platform integration concepts
• Experience contributing to roadmap or strategic planning cycles
• Background in regulated or enterprise‑scale environments
