Are you a physiotherapist with a special interest in influencing service delivery within respiratory? The inpatient respiratory team are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist with highly developed clinical and leadership skills to lead the Respiratory Physiotherapy Team working across critical care and surgical in‑patient wards at the VHK. There is a small commitment to respiratory outpatients.
Responsibilities- Lead the Respiratory Physiotherapy Team across critical care and surgical in‑patient wards, and contribute to respiratory outpatient services.
- Use deep knowledge of common and complex respiratory/surgical presentations and manage complex discharge planning with excellent communication skills.
- Supervise and manage a large team of physiotherapy staff (previous experience of staff supervision/management essential).
- Identify, act on and lead quality improvement initiatives, clinical audit, in‑service training and evidence‑based practice.
- Actively support the training of the next generation of clinicians, including undergraduate and postgraduate education.
